KANSAS CITY’S
BIG PICNIC


Each year the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art hosts a city - wide picnic on their lawn. KCAI junior students are asked to propose a brand which includes, a program along with a map of the grounds, promotional items, and signage. I along with two other designers, proposed the theme “Connect”. We designed a sophisticated and fun brand to celebrate Kansas City’s diverse and vibrant community. The geometric shapes and patterns imitate the basic forms of the sculptures and when paired with a bright color palette help celebrate the coming summer and generate excitement.
